MONROE – The Chestatee girls’ track and field team claimed a second straight runner-up finish in the Region 8-AAAA meet on Wednesday, finishing second to region champion Lanier High. The Chestatee boys finished fourth in the region meet, with the Lanier boys also claiming the region championship. A total of four Chestatee runners claimed individual region championships on Wednesday night, including three girls.
