Buford High junior 3B/C Alysha Rudnik was named the Class AA Player of the Year on Saturday by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association.

Shortstop Whitney Holman, Chelsie Thomas (3B) and Melissa Dickie (P/1B) were named to the All-State first team and Holman, who was named the Georgia Dugout Club’s Class AA Player of the Year was selected to the North-South All-Star Game

Karly Fullem, Kallie Case and Lexi Overstreet were named to the second team. Samantha Ramey and Whitney Wolfe were honorable mentions.
