The Buford High baseball team advanced in the Class AA state playoffs with a second-round sweep of Morgan County, 5-0 and 9-2, on Thursday in Madison. With the win in the best-of-three series, the Wolves advance to face Pierce County in the state quarterfinals, a rematch of last year’s third round. The series begins with a doubleheader Tuesday at Gerald McQuaig Field in Buford.
