Jordan Deep led Buford to a 9-1 win in a decisive Game 3 over Franklin County with a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth on Thursday in Buford to send the Lady Wolves to the state championships next week in Columbus. Deep’s home run was immediately followed by a solo home run by Tessa Daniels to put the Lady Wolves up 8-1. Daniels was 2 for 3 with three RBIs and a run scored in the game, and Deep tallied five RBIs, going 3 for 3 at the plate with two runs scored.
