Bricknell leads Young Harris to 6-5 win over Southern Wesleyan

Zach Bricknell and Trey Rogers combined to drive in five runs as Young Harris College won 6-5 against Southern Wesleyan University on Tuesday in Central, S.C. Young Harris took the lead on Bricknell’s Peach Belt Conference-leading 14th homer, a three-run shot, in the fourth after David Atwood singled and Jack Morrow walked. Bricknell led Young Harris (19-19) with three hits, while Adam Moore and Atwood added two each in the 11-hit performance. Miles Nagel (1-2) earned the win with three innings of relief, and Flowery Branch High graduate James Mills earned his first save for the Mountain Lions.
