Maggie Canup of Commerce and Claire Wilson of Towns County both earned first team honors on the 8-A All-Region softball team. Canup’s teammates Libbi Lance and Jenna Thomas were names to the Second Team, along with Towns County’s Emily Anderson. Commerce’s Bridget Barnett and Hannah Crumley and Towns County’s Brittany Ledford, Tori Morgan and Meagan Ellis all earned honorable mention.
