High school tennis: Flowery Branch girls finish runner-up at South Forsyth tournament

The Flowery Branch High girls tennis program took second place at the South Forsyth tournament, after going 3-1 this weekend in Cumming. 

The Lady Falcons earned wins against West Forsyth (3-2), Centennial (3-2) and Duluth (4-1). In the finals, Flowery Branch lost 3-0 to South Forsyth.

Against West Forsyth and Centennial, Flowery Branch swept singles with wins from Annabelle Thomas, Alyssa McSpadden and Olivia Nance.

FLOWERY BRANCH BOYS WIN TWICE: Jack Thomas won three times in No. 2 singles action for the Falcons in a pair of 4-1 win against West Forsyth and Duluth, and 4-1 loss to Centennial.
