High School soccer scoreboard: Christopher Brown leads Riverside Military to victory with two goals

Riverside Military Academy beat Lakeview Academy 3-0. Christopher Brown scored his first goal on an early cross for the Eagles (6-4), followed by another strike in the second half Friday in Gainesville. Michael Madichie also found the back of the net for Riverside Military. 

On Tuesday, the Eagles face Hebron Christian at 5:30 p.m.

BUFORD GIRLS 0, CLARKE CENTRAL 0 (PKs): Arden Paulino, Chloe Kerr and Ava Sherman found the back of the net in penalty kicks, locking up the Region 8-5A title on Friday. 

JOHNSON GIRLS 10, CEDAR SHOALS 0: Emi Kuhs had a hat trick in the first half for the Lady Knights on Friday. Eileen Cruz and Dani Malone each added a pair of first-half goals. Carla Avalos and Madison Booker also had goals for Johnson. 

JOHNSON BOYS 8, CEDAR SHOALS 0: Junior Arellano, Jonathan Miralrio, Rudy Granados, Juan Carlos Gomez, Edgar Lopez, Diego Chavez and Cole Bowen all found the back of the net. Eliam Chavez had two assits on the night, alongside one assist from Miralrio, Tony Maldonado and Rudy Orosco. Cooper Bowen had one save.

CHESTATEE 7, RABUN GAP-NACOOCHEE 0: Kyleigh Drew scored four goals, with assists from Seline Cuevas, Elizabeth Leon and Greysen Wood who also found the back of the net once. Elizabeth Domigoes assisted Wood on her goal. Venessa Camacho scored another goal for the Lady War Eagles, following an assist from Drew.

FLOWERY BRANCH 3, WHITE COUNTY 2: Michael Montez, Kyle Garnett and Andree Jimenez pushed the Falcons past the Warriors, each with one goal. Max Garnett finished the night with two assists, along with an assist by Montez. Sal Sengson insured the Falcons’ victory with five saves. 

Flowery Branch takes on Marist at home on Tuesday.
