High school football: Riverside Military pulls out 32-24 win in thriller against Johnson

Riverside Military’s Shad Dabney ran in the go-ahead touchdown with one minute left and scored on the 2-point conversion as it beat Johnson 32-24 on Friday in Oakwood. Dabney finished the game with 220 yards rushing and three touchdowns on the ground, and threw a touchdown to Adriel Clark. 

Clark intercepted a Knights pass with 30 seconds left to ice the victory. 

Trailing 24-21, Johnson tied the game with a field goal with 1:35 left. 

It marked Riverside Military’s first win in school history against Johnson. After a bye, the Eagles host Prince Avenue Christian on Sept. 27 at Maginnis Field.
