North Hall girls cross country team combined for 57 points to win Tuesday's War Eagle Invitational in Gainesville. Caylee Wagner was the Lady Trojans' top runner, crossing in 21 minutes, 30 seconds for fourth place. Ella Randall Lee (22:34) was ninth for North Hall. White County was the meet’s runner-up with 67 points, followed by Dawson County finish in third with 118 points. Chestatee was fourth with 140 points. McKenna Graham was the top individual runner for the War Eagles, finishing 16th.
NORTH HALL BOYS SHINE: North Hall High runner Devan Crow was the top individual finisher for the Trojans, crossing first with a time of 16 minutes, 40 seconds at the War Eagle Invitational on Tuesday in Gainesville. Andrew Jones had a final time of 17:34, good for seventh place overall for North Hall. The next fastest runner for the Trojans was Bryce Hartis — with a time of 17:43 — who was 10th.
Dawson County as the meet’s runner-up finished with 69 points, followed by Gainesville (86 points) in third. Among the top runners for the Red Elephants were Miguel Lope in second place with a time of 17:10 and Donangelo Marshall (17:51) with an 11th place finish. Chestatee’s Luke Gaddis (17:31) led the War Eagles to a fourth place finish (144), crossing for a fifth place individual finish.
