High school basketball scoreboard: Quick scores 21 points as Flowery Branch boys pick up region win

Justin Quick scored 21 points in Flowery Branch’s 53-28 win against Loganville on Tuesday in Loganville. Patsheko Lutumba added nine points for the Falcons (5-2, 2-0 Region 8-5A).

Flowery Branch plays Buford at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Buford.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 58, LUMPKIN COUNTY 38: Cullen Reed led Dawson County with 19 points on Tuesday in Dahlonega. Jeremiah Crumley contributed 10 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Tigers. Dawson County improved to 4-2 for the season.

Dawson County hosts Fannin County at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Dawsonville.

LUMPKIN COUNTY GIRLS 46, DAWSON COUNTY 39: Calli Watson scored 12 points for Dawson County. Emma Brown had seven points for the Lady Tigers (4-2), while teammate Chloe Bennett finished the night with six points.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 71, MADISON COUNTY 41: Carl Cleveland scored 22 points, grabbed six rebounds and had four assists for Banks County on Tuesday in Homer. Dylan Orr had 15 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks for the Leopards (5-0). Gabe Martin finished the night with 12 points, seven rebounds and four steals for Banks County.

Banks County plays East Hall at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Gainesville.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 60, MADISON COUNTY 53: Allison Smith scored 19 points in Banks County’s overtime win on Tuesday in Homer. Maddie Thomas had 16 points for the Lady Leopards (4-1), while teammate Amber Williams finished the night with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Banks County visits East Hall at 6 p.m. tonight in Gainesville.

WALNUT GROVE GIRLS 73, JOHNSON 25: Chelsea Reece finished with a team-high 12 points for Johnson.

Johnson visits Habersham Central at 7 p.m. Friday in Mount Airy.
