The Lions fell 10-0 in the first game against the Mustangs and then dropped a 5-3 decision in the night cap.

Ian Echols got the start in Game 1, allowing seven runs over four innings. Holden Cooper and Parker Allen got the only two hits — both singles — for the Lions (12-4).

Allen started the second game, allowing two runs and striking out three over 3 2/3 innings. Skyler Thellman was 1 for 1, with an RBI double, a walk and a sacrifice fly.

Lakeview Academy will travel to Riverside Military Academy on Tuesday.
