Gainesville native Tyrese Hendrix suffered the first loss of his professional career, falling by unanimous decision to Hank Lundy (18-0-1) for the NABO title Friday night in Memphis.
Hendrix (18-1-1) survived three knockdowns, but was kept on the defensive by an aggressive Lundy. Both fighters went down early and later replays showed a double knockdown, but only Lundy’s was credited.
