After a second-place finish in the state Dizzy Dean softball tournament, the Hall County Southern Explosion 12-and-under girls team is preparing for next week’s Dizzy Dean World Series in Southaven, Miss. The team, which has been undefeated in two consecutive regular seasons and won two straight Hall County titles, is seeking donations to help cover expenses that will be incurred during the upcoming World Series trip.
