The Toledo Mud Hens edged the Gwinnett Braves 2-1 on Tuesday night at Coolray Field, earning a split of the four-game series.
Nate McLouth hit his third home run in six games, but the Toledo won the pitching dual between G-Braves starter Scott Diamond (6 innings, 1 run) and L.J. Gagnier (7 innings, 1 run) when Casper Wells delivered an RBI single off reliever Cory Gearrin in the eighth inning.
The G-Braves will travel to play the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in a four-game series beginning Thursday at 7:05 p.m.
