Oakwood weightlifter R. Garry Glenn was named "Powerlifter of the Month" by irondawg.com on Monday.

Glenn is a four-time national champion and a two-time world champion for his age and weight in the bench press. Glenn has won six meets this year, including the American Powerlifting Committee title, the North Georgia Bench Press Contest, the APC Nationals, the Georgia Games and the American Powerlifting Federation State Meet, and most recently the World Title last month in Germany.
