Georgia Tech sophomore basketball player Jason Morris has been sidelined with a broken right big toe but is expected to be ready for pre-season conditioning in September.

The Augusta native was injured during a pickup game on July 18 and underwent surgery to insert an anchor on July 25.

The 6-foot-5 guard played in every game during the 2010-2011 season and started the last five contests. As a freshman, Morris shot a team high 40 percent from three.
