The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the 2009-10 Georgia Tech basketball schedule Tuesday.
Georgia Tech opens the season by playing host to Florida A&M on Nov. 14 and then travels to Puerto Rico to play in a four-day tournament against 15 teams that played in last year’s NCAA or NIT postseason tournaments.
NCAA champion North Carolina, ACC champion Duke and Pac-10 heavyweight Southern California highlight the roster of teams visiting the Alexander Memorial Coliseum during this season.
Georgia Tech’s ACC schedule begins with a home game against Florida State on Dec. 20 and includes 13 games against teams who played in last year’s NCAA Tournament and two against NIT teams. At home, the Yellow Jackets face off against Duke, Clemson, Wake Forest, NC State, North Carolina, Boston College and Virginia Tech.
Road games include Virginia, North Carolina, Florida State, Duke, Miami, Wake Forest, Maryland and Clemson.
