ATLANTA - Georgia Tech athletic director Dan Radakovich is expected to make a decision on Paul Hewitt's future at the school within a few days, but the two are not meeting on Friday.

Georgia Tech's disappointing 13-18 season ended with Thursday night's 59-43 loss to Virginia Tech in the first round of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament.

Associate athletic director Wayne Hogan says Hewitt and his team returned to Atlanta on Friday while Radakovich remained in Greensboro, N.C., for ACC meetings.

Wednesday is the deadline for Georgia Tech to notify the coach in writing if his contract will not be renewed for another year.

Hewitt's six-year contract at about $1.3 million per year has an automatic rollover clause. The buyout would cost Georgia Tech approximately $7 million.
