Josh Sailors, a junior fullback from Athens, has been awarded a football scholarship by University of Georgia coach Mark Richt.

Sailors, 5-foot-9, 230 pounds walk-on for the Bulldogs, graduated from Oconee County High.

He is in his fourth year at the University of Georgia, having served as a valuable reserve and member of the scout team during his career. Sailors, a biology major, has been named twice to the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Sailors is the fourth walk-on to be awarded a scholarship this year.
