Georgia freshman running back Washaun Ealey has been naemd the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week for the second time, the league announced Monday.
Ealey ran for a career-high 183 yards on 20 carries to help Georgia knock off No. 7 Georgia Tech 30-24 on Saturday. It was Ealey’s first 100-yard game, and helped push the Bulldogs to their highest rushing total (339 yards) since 372-yard showing against William & Mary in 1988.
