University of Georgia basketball signee Daniel Miller was granted a release from the National Letter-of-Intent that he signed last November to attend UGA, according to an announcement today by Bulldogs coach Mark Fox.

"The family of Daniel Miller expressed a desire for Daniel to be released from his letter-of-intent," Fox said. "After meeting with them over the weekend, I have granted Daniel his complete release. I wish him well in the career path he chooses for himself."

Miller, a 6-foot-11 center from Loganville, signed with the Bulldogs during the early national signing period on Nov. 11, 2008. Because he has been granted a complete release from his National Letter-of-Intent, he may attend any NLI member institution without penalty.
