Stacey Palmore has joined new Georgia coach Mark Fox’s staff after five seasons as an assistant at Virginia Tech.

Palmore, a native of Greenwood, S.C., joined the Virginia Tech in 2004 when the Hokies joined the Atlantic Coast Conference. He was one of Virginia Tech’s top recruiters.

Fox called Palmore “a first-class guy” who has enjoyed “a lot of success in recruiting this area and coaching in the ACC. I believe he’ll be a terrific addition to our staff.”
