CINCINNATI — The Bengals added another defensive lineman in the fourth round of the NFL draft, taking Geno Atkins of Georgia with the 120th overall pick.
Atkins started three games last season. He's quick but not particularly big for a defensive lineman at 6-foot-1 and 290 pounds. He could be used primarily on passing downs.
He's the second defensive lineman the Bengals have taken in the draft. They chose Florida's Carlos Dunlap in the second round, trying to improve a pass rush that was one of their biggest weaknesses last season.
