University of West Georgia golfer and Gainesville High graduate Jace Windom finished second out of 56 players in the Birmingham Southern Spring Invitational on Tuesday.

Windom shot a two-day total of 147, three strokes off the lead. He helped West Georgia win the tournament as a team.

Windom graduated from Gainesville High in 2006.
