Nate McLouth hit a lead off home run for the Gwinnett Braves in the first inning as part of a 10-0 win over the Rochester Red Wings on Friday night at Coolray Field. With the win, the Triple-A G-Braves completed their second series sweep of the season.

After McLouth’s first-inning home run, Wes Timmons followed with another solo home run, the first of his career at Coolray Field. It marked the first time this season that Gwinnett has connected on back-to-back home runs.

For the second consecutive night, designated hitter Barbaro Canizares had three RBIs.

Timmons finished the game 4-for-4 and an RBI. Shortstop Diory Hernandez and left fielder Matt Young each drove in two runs for the G-Braves.

Mike Minor earned the win by throwing seven scoreless innings and allowing only one hit.

Gwinnett plays host to the Toledo Mud Hens at 7 p.m. tonight at Coolray Field.
