The Buffalo Bisons beat the Gwinnett Braves 2-1 on Sunday at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, NY in the final game of the four-game series.
Buffalo’s Jorge Padilla hit an RBI double of Jose Ortegano in the fifth inning to break a 1-1 tie and put the Bisons ahead for good.
Gwinnett’s Diory Hernandez had one of three hits for the G-Braves, a single that scored Matt Young in the fourth inning.
The G-Braves dropped to 43-52 on the season. They’ll open a four-game series on the road against the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees tonight at 7:05 p.m.
