A drifting event and competition will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson.

The event will feature tire-smoking and sideways practice. Competition in five drifting divisions, the professional tandem groups 1 and 2 and amateur single groups 1, 2, 3 and 4, will be held from 6-9 p.m.

The entry fee is $5 per person.
