Flowery Branch High graduate Kiara Woods finished fifth in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 10 minutes, 44.72 seconds at the US Junior Olympic Track and field championships on Saturday in Sacremento, Calif. 

Erika Rucker, a Flowery Branch High senior, won her qualifying heat of the 400 with a time of 55.86. Finals are Sunday.
