The Masters men’s division brought in medals for the US at the International Canoe Federation Dragonboat World Championships on Saturday in Szeged, Hungary. Flowery Branch’s Jim O’Dell was in the 20-person men’s 500 meter team that claimed the bronze. Then, the masters women’s team finished second overall.

Gainesville’s Natalie Kean, Sheaffer Sorrells and Rich Stewart were all part of the senior mixed team that placed fifth overall.
Team USA will compete in the 10 and 20 seater finals in 200 and 2,000 events today.
