Local tennis director Charlie Fischer, a certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association, recently received an award for outstanding participation in the association’s continuing education program. The USPTA recently awarded Fischer a Level I Certificate of Achievement for earning credits in the association’s Career Development Program over a one-year period.
