The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a Texas Scramble event on Tuesday. Winning first place was the team of Norma Remmlinger, Carolyn Palmer and Jeanne Tompkins.

Second place went to the team of Paula Pilgrim, Nancy Negley and Sue Cronmiller.

Nora Gleason won the closest to pin competition on both holes (Nos. 3 and 17).

CMGA: The Chattahoochee Men's Golf Association played a two-best ball, aggregated net points game today at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.

Don Gage, Bud Clegg, Nick Grillo and Bo Boohaker tied Tommy Lowery, Denny Momper, Dave Long and Ron Bachman for first place.

Joe Kolesar, Roy Lyle, Gary Palmer and Rolf Legbandt came in third place.

Closest to the pin winners were Richard McClure (No. 2), Jimmy Johnson (No. 5), Momper (No. 12), and Ben Brooks (No. 17).

LUNA'S GOLF GROUP: Luna's Tuesday golf group played at Royal Lakes in Oakwood this week.

First place went to the team of Phil Rothermel, Larry Cleek, Larry Miller and Jerry Johns. Second place went to the team of Bud Chandler, Cleve Brown, Tom Sexton, and Joe Roberts.

Third place went to the team of Doug Van, Tommy Lowery, Stan Davidson Jr, and Johnny Nix.

Closest to the pin winners were Rothermel (Nos. 4 and 16), Brown (No. 14) and Royce Deaton (No. 8).

WEDNESDAY DOGFIGHT: The Wednesday Dogfight Group played a two-best ball net game this week at Chicopee Woods.

Duane Roberts, Chris Jones and Terry McFarland took first place with a 17-under par.

Finishing in second was the team of Walter Hope, Roger Stapp and Terry Clegg who shot 16-under. Coming in third place were Walter Hope, Roger Stapp and Terry Clegg at 12 under.

Individual results were also kept. Roberts finished first with a 64. Keith Fitzgerald placed second with a 65.

Stapp and Lou Vega tied for third with 67.

DPG: The Dedicated Players Group played matches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday last week at Chicopee Woods.

On Monday, Dave Jetter tied for first place with Martha Shell and Denis Jordan took second.

On Wednesday, Dennis Jones took first, Jetter finished second and Horace Smallwood finished third.

On Friday, Jerry Shell finished first, Smallwood finished second and Jones finished third.
