The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a Texas Scramble event on Tuesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.

The team of Ann White, Johann Stone, Nora Gleason and Fran Watkins took first place.

Coming in second place were Beulah Land, Paula Pilgrim, Betty Norton and Nancy Negley.

Closest to the pin winners were Paula Pilgrim (No. 3) and Ann White (No. 17).

CMGA: The Chattahoochee Men's Golf Association played a scramble on Wednesday.

First place went to the team of John Gibbs, Jim Carroll, Harry Barnett, and Jim Martin.

In second place was the team of Jack Costello, Bob Watson, and Jim Hollobaugh.

Third was won by team of Bill Collier, Karl Goellner, Jim Van Dyke and John Beem.

Closest to the pin winners were Joe Kolesar (No. 3), Collier (No. 5), Gene Weschler (No. 12), and Paul Payne (No. 17).

LUNA'S TUESDAY: The Luna's Tuesday golf group played at Chattahoochee this week.

First place went to the team of Joe Campbell. Phil Rothermel, Doug Van, and Cleve Brown.

Second place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr, Nelson Wright, Steve Hill, and Don Rogers.

Third place went to the team of Gene Weschler, Chad Pierce, Tommy Lowery, and Jerry Johns. Closest to the pin winners were Johnny Nix (No. 3), Joe Roberts (No. 5), Larry Cleek (No. 12), and Rothermel (No. 17).

DPG: The Dedicated Players Group played matches Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week at Chicopee Woods.

On Monday, Horace Smallwood came in first place, while Terrence Dale came in second place.

Wednesday, Dwight Miller earned first place, and Doug Padgett placed second.

Dale took first on Friday.

Dennis Jones finished in second place and Charley Kilby was in third place.
