The Wednesday Dogfight group played a two-best ball net event this week at Chicopee Woods.
Coming in first place was the team of Tommy Calhoun, Jerry Horton and Darrel Pinner who shot 17-under par.
Jim Arendt, Geoff Archibald and Yoko Komoto shot a 16-under par to place second.
In third were Eric Autry, Bob Arendt and Yoshi at 13-under par.
Individual net scores were also kept with Horton shooting a 65 and finishing first. He was followed by Komoto in second, and Calhoun in third who shot 67 and 68, respectively.
LUNA’s TUESDAY: Luna’s Tuesday golf group played at the Chattahoochee Golf Course this week. First place went to the team of Randy Gordy, Tom Sexton, Doug Van and Don Rogers.
In second place were Stan Davidson, Jr., Tommy Lowery, Ken Chahoy and Leggs Clark. Third place went to the team of Phil Rothermel, Jerry Johns, Juan Luna and Jim Cornett.
Closest to the pin winners were Sexton (No. 3), Van (No. 5), Sexton (No. 12) and Johns (No. 17).
CMGA: The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two-best ball, aggregated-net points game Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.
In first place was the team of Joe Kolesar, Jim Hollobaugh, Roy Lyle and Al Batog
The team of Herb Sckerl, Larry Cohan, Jimmy Johnson and Harmon Smith placed second, while the team of Clay Bartlett, Karl Goellner, Bob Watson and Robert Mallis finished in third place.
Closest to the pin winners were Doug Van (No. 3), Bob Pyne (No. 5), Lyle (No. 12) and Bob Watson (No. 17).
CLGA: The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association held its annual Fall Tournament on Tuesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.
In the first flight, Mona White took low gross, with Ann Hollobaugh winning low net.
In the second flight, Betty Norton took low gross with Nora Gleason taking low net.
Closest to the pin winners were Nora Gleason (No.3) and Mona White (No. 17).
DPG: The Dedicated Players Group played matches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week at Chicopee Woods.
On Monday, Terrence Dale finished first and was followed by Dwight Miller in second and Horace Smallwood in third.
Bob Kidd, Denis Jordan and Miller tied for first place on Wednesday. Dale finished in second.
Friday, James Roberts took first place. Dave Jetter placed second, and Dale and Horace Smallwood tied for third.
