The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played its monthly individual flighted strokes competition Wednesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Course.
In the white flight, Roy Bartlett took first place, and Eddie Johnson and Don Wells tied for second. Bill Sutton won the gold first flight, and Dick Bachman and Jere Cochran tied for second. Ken Uyl finished in first place in the gold second flight, Johnny Little came in second, and J.B. Johnston and Ed Pledger tied for third.
Closest to the pin winners were Jack Costello (No. 3), Chuck Keith (No. 5), Bartlett (No. 12) and Cochran (No. 17).
DOGFIGHT: Greg Lee, Trey Venable and Henry Komoto won the two best ball net game at the Wednesday dogfight at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.
The team of Jim Arendt, Cleve Sexton and Brad Higgs came in second, and Luke James, James Lloyd and Vince Jonte’ and Jeff Frasier, Pat Reece and Dan Arthurs tied for third place.
Individually, Lee finished in first place, Arendt was second, and Sexton was third.
DPG: The Dedicated Players Group played matches last Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.
Bob Kidd won the event on Monday, and Henry Komoto and Martha Shell tied for second. On Wednesday, Dave Jetter took first place, Horace Smallwood came in second, and Dewey Alverson was third.
Smallwood won on Friday, and James Roberts and Jerry Shell tied for second.
