IronDawgs powerlifting team sets records at local meet

Gary Hatfield broke Southern Powerlifting Federation world records with a bench press of 540 pounds and a 580-pound deadlift for the Georgia IronDawgs powerlifting team at the Body by George meet on Saturday in Loganville. Tim Moon took first place in the 275-pound, 45-49-year-old class with a bench press of 705 pounds, and Zack Layfield pressed 190 pounds in the 70-74-year-old, 165-pound class. The same weekend, the IronDawgs’ Garry Glenn won one gold medal in the Global Powerlifting Alliance Raw World Championships in Finland.
