Gainesville's Morgan House teamed with Pat Dolan, Luke Michael and Jake Michael to place third in their heat of the K-4, 1,000 meter race, fifth in their semifinal, to advance to today's B final at the Duisburg World Cup for the U.S.
Sprint National Team.

In men's canoe, Ben Hefner of Gainesville placed eighth in his 500-meter semifinal, and ninth in his 1,000-meter heat. The C2 boat of Robert Finlayson, also of Gainesville, and Alejandro Schwedhelm finished seventh in the 500-meter semifinals and ninth in the 1,000-meter semifinals.

Despite not qualifying in their first events, Hefner and Finlayson will compete in today's C1M 200-meter.
