Truett-McConnell had a strong first half and held off a late rally to notch a 100-92 win over the Bulldogs.
Anthony Dorsey led the charge for the Bears with 26 points. Rod Bombard followed with 24 points, and Bernard Nugent had 16.
As a team, the Bears shot 59 percent from the field, 48 percent from 3-point range.
The Bears play next on Friday at Belhaven.
