Jaybo Shaw, a Flowery Branch graduate and current member of the Georgia Southern football team, was honored with the Erk Russell Award at the team’s annual postseason banquet Saturday night.
The Erk Russell Award is given by the coaching staff to the player who most exemplified the character, morals, ethics and actions of former Eagles coach Erk Russell.
