University of North Georgia softball players Melissa Dickie and Kim McMillan have weekly awards from the Peach Belt Conference on Monday. Buford grad Dickie was named the conference Pitcher of the Week while McMillan was named the Player of the Week. Dickie pitched a team-high 20 innings last week, allowing eight hits and one earned run while striking out 10 as she went 3-0 in her three appearances.
