The North Georgia College & State University softball team remains at No. 2 in the first regular season NFCA Division II Top-25 poll of the 2011 season, after being voted to the spot in the preseason poll.

The Lady Saints (9-0) have appeared in the Top-10 of the poll for 21-straight weeks, including 12 as the top-ranked team in the country.

North Georgia will participate in the UAH Charger Chillout with games against Barry University, Arkansas Tech, Quincy University, No. 17 Arkansas Monticello, No. 5 Wayne State and No. 9 Alabama Huntsville, beginning Friday at the Wilson-Morgan Softball Complex in Decatur, Ala.
