Shelby Hammontree hit a pair of home runs, and the 12th ranked University of North Georgia softball team swept rival-Young Harris on Saturday Afternoon at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium. A fifth-inning two-run home run by Hammontree put the Nighthawks (35-9) ahead for good in a 4-2 win in Game 1. And only up a run in the fifth inning of the nightcap, Hammontree's second two-run shot of the day gave the Nighthawks some needed insurance in a 7-3 win.
