The No. 9 Brenau University softball team split a doubleheader with Lee University on Tuesday at the Lanier Park Softball Complex.

The Golden Tigers fell in the first game, 4-3, but rallied to take the second, 13-1. Brenau (31-7, 15-5 Southern States Athletic Conference) faces Brewton-Parker College for a doubleheader, beginning at 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Vernon.

Jenny Sheppard had a pair of home runs, three hits and five RBIs in the double header for the Golden Tigers. Tiffany Schandera added three hits, a double and a pair of runs driven in for Brenau.
