The fourth-ranked University of North Georgia softball team split a doubleheader Friday at the Diamond9 Citrus Classic in Orlando, Fla. The Nighthawks won Game 1 handily, 9-3, before falling 3-2 in the nightcap. In Game 1, the Nighthawks (15-5) scored six runs in the bottom of the second with a Hannah McSwain (1 for 3) RBI double to center field, a three-run homer from Sydney Sprague (1 for 3) and a two-run double from Kaylyn Anthony.
