Lisa Portwood pulled off personal best times in four events for the Brenau University swimming team in the Savannah College of Art & Design Invitational on Sunday in Savannah.
She finished sixth overall in the 500 freestyle (5 minutes, 17.95 seconds), ninth overall in the 200 IM (2:17.72) and 400 IM (4:48.01) and 10th in the 200 freestyle (1:59.93).
Brenau’s Julia Ferreira, a junior, set personal best times in the 400 intermediate medley (5:06.97) and 100 breaststroke (1:13.18). The Golden Tigers’ Melissa Bofto finished 11th in the 200 breaststroke (2:38.30) , which was a personal best time.
Ana Galesic and Brianne Russ each turned in a personal best time in three events, and Monica Souther had a new PR in two events for Brenau.
