The Brenau University swim team placed fourth in the Appalachian Swim Conference Championship over the weekend in Barbourville, Ky.

Among many awards the team garnered, Hannah Boudreaux took home top honors as Female Athlete of the Year after placing first in three individual events and setting new conference records in all. And, for the second time in as many years, coach Blaire Bachman was named the ASC Coach of the Year.

The Golden Tigers won the 400 freestyle relay, placed second in the 200 medley relay, and MK Jabbia came in third in the 200 breaststroke.

Brenau travels to the NAIA National Championships from Feb. 26-March 3 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
