Ellen Black went 5 for 7 with five RBIs and two home runs on the day as the fifth-ranked Brenau University softball team swept a doubleheader with Emmanuel College, 11-0, 9-2, on Saturday.

Anna Maness earned the win, striking out 12, in Game 1, while Jenny Shepherd struck out 11 to earn the win in Game 2.

With the two wins, Breanu (26-2, 10-0 South States Athletic Conference) earned the top seed heading in the conference tournament.

The Golden Tigers will host a doubleheader with Truett-McConnell, beginning at 5 p.m. today.
