North Georgia College & State University is one of 16 host sites for the 2009 NCAA Division-II Softball Championships from May 8-10.

The second-ranked Saints (43-3) are one of two Southeast Region hosts, along with Lenior-Rhyne.

The winner of each regional advances to the NCAA Super Regional from May 15-16, with the Super Regional winner playing the NCAA Division-II World Series in Salem, Virginia.

North Georgia opens the tournament against No. 8 seed Queens University at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Dahlonega.
