Ellen Black, a pitcher/first baseman from Stephens County High signed a letter of intent to play softball for Brenau University next season.

Black was a four-year starter for Stephens County and earned Most Valuable Player honors in each of those years. During her senior season she had an ERA of 0.66 while striking out 152 batters. Black was also selected as a Wendy’s Heisman recipient in 2007.
