The Brenau University softball team defeated Southern Wesleyan 4-3 and 5-1 in a doubleheader Wednesday in Central, SC.

Marisa Litster led the Tigers in game one, pitching a complete game with 10 strikeouts. Carrie Brookshire led Brenau at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI. Tori Faub was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Colleen Sparrow had a game-winning hit in the eighth inning.

Missy Herren led the Tigers in game two, also pitching a complete game while striking out 11. Faub and Renfro each went 2-for-3, Brookshire had two RBIs and Katie Hulsey had a double and one RBI.
